Senior Business Development Manager (m/f/d) MedTech

As a development partner and production specialist, it supports leading MedTech companies in bringing demanding components, instruments and implant solutions to life. Thanks to a global network of specialised production sites, the group offers comprehensive expertise across the entire value chain.

To further strengthen its international sales team, we are looking for an entrepreneurial and technically skilled personality as Senior Business Development Manager (m/f/d) MedTech.

Responsibilities:

In this key position, you take ownership of strategic and operational business development across global markets. Within the implants and medical instruments segment, you act as the central interface between market, development and production, playing a decisive role in identifying new business opportunities, expanding customer relationships and generating sustainable growth.

Your main responsibilities:

• Identifying, developing and winning new business opportunities with leading MedTech OEMs worldwide, focusing on implant systems, surgical instruments and high-precision components for regulated, demanding applications

• Building and maintaining long-term customer relationships at management and decision-making level

• Analysing market trends, customer needs and technological developments

• Advising customers on technical manufacturing and material solutions

• Working closely with R&D, engineering and production to successfully deliver customer projects

• Supporting local sales organisations in quotation and sales processes

• Representing the company at trade fairs, congresses and customer events

• Owning the maintenance and further development of the sales pipeline and the CRM system

• Preparing market, competitor and sales analyses for management

Requirements:

• Technical education or degree in materials engineering, medical technology or a comparable qualification

• At least 10 years of international experience in business development, sales or key account management within medical technology, with a proven track record

• Sound knowledge of implants, surgical instruments, medical components or comparable MedTech products

• Sound knowledge of materials, manufacturing technologies and industrial production processes

• Good understanding of technical drawings and technical specifications

• Entrepreneurial personality with a strong customer focus

• Ability to convey complex technical matters convincingly at management level

• Independent, structured and solution-oriented way of working

• High level of self-motivation and genuine enjoyment in building new business opportunities in an international environment

• Confident handling of modern CRM systems an advantage

• Business-fluent English and French, other european languages desirable

• Willingness to travel: 60–80%
